Jyll Bradley

Bradley collaborated with the many people in and around Medellin (known as the ‘city of flowers’) who grow and sell cut flowers. Working with students, flower arrangers, growers and dancer Rosa Barragan, Bradley created a major installation and curated a temporal exhibition to coincide with the city’s annual celebration of flower culture, Feria de las Flores. During the course of the project city dwellers ‘named after a flower’ were invited to be photographed as part of the exhibition. Produced by Bill Gee of bga. Funded by The British Council.
