Dutch/Light is a new installation drawing upon the ingenuity of early Anglo-Dutch glasshouse technology. Made of edge-lit Plexiglas and re-purposed timber from Chatham Dockyard the work is activated by sunlight to create a pavilion of geometric colour. Dutch/Light is commissioned to mark the 350th anniversary of the Dutch Raid on the River Medway, a naval incident which brought an end to the Anglo-Dutch wars.
