The Hop, May – October 2022, The Hayward Gallery, London, UK
The Hop is a new commission inspired by the thousands of women and children who travelled from South London to Kent every year to bring in the hop harvest. Standing at almost four metres in height, the installation will echo the geometric design of a Kentish hop garden. Using my signature light-reactive materials The Hop will create a luminous public canopy alongside the Hayward Gallery.
