In 2003 bush fires nearly destroyed Canberra, Australia’s ‘city of trees’. In the aftermath an ambitious plan emerged: the building of a vast new National Arboretum. This work explores the lives and voices of those who have helped make this dream a reality.
Commissioned for the City of Trees project for the centenary of Canberra, Australia 2013; work made in collaboration with Jonquil Panting.
First presented in ‘City of Trees’ at The National Library of Australia, Canberra, Australia (2013).
